Welcome to day two of Mask Week! If you missed the official start (and FarmHouse Fresh review) check it out here. I'll wait. Now that you're back, we can get to the honey infused amazing-ness that is the Farmacy Honey Potion Renewing Antioxidant Hydration Mask.Mouthful of a name, yes (we'll just call it Honey Potion from here on in) but it's a pot of full hydration and... Well, you'll have to read on to find out the rest.

Housed in a honey-comb shaped, glass pot, Farmacy Honey Potion makes it clear that honey is boss. The mask pot is majorly weighty, adding a quality feel, while the magnetic lid is the cherry on the top. Why's that? Good question. Honey Potion comes with its own metal spatula, a very nice addition that works to keep fingers out of the pot. It's also very easy to lose. Thus, the magnetic cap. It's ingenious, as the spatula lives atop the mask, never getting lost.

As with all of Farmacy's products, Honey Potion features the brand's Echinacea GreenEnvy honey (check out the video at the end of this post to see how it's produced.) Echinacea GreenEnvy honey is loaded with a potent natural antioxidants that work to keep skin damaging pollutants at bay. The bees produce the rare honey extract and pollinate the farm's echinacea flowers. Ina ddition to Echinacea GreenEnvy, the farm produces a rare form of Echinacea Purpurea that contains the highest known concentration of the phytochemical Cichoric Acid. What does it do? Another great question. Cichoric Acid is a potent natural antioxidant that heightens the hydrating and brightening effects of honey.

Honey Potion is a hydrating mask, but it's more fun to use than your average as it's also a warming mask. The mask starts off as a yellowish, sticky substance, but as you massage in onto skin it transforms into a white, creamy mask that warms and tingles on skin. It's combination of honey (a natural humectant), propolis (a substance found in beehives) and royal jelly work to hydrate, enhance, brighten and perk up skin. After rinsing my skin instantly felt softer and smoother, but it wasn't until the next morning that I saw the brightened effect.

You know where this is going, but it has to be said... I love this mask! I will admit that I was a little startled at how warm and tingly it got, but my skin seems to love it and I love how my skin looks. It's a full circle love affair. Sensitive skin types may need to be careful with this one, but I think it will suit most everyone else. What do you think? Tried it or want to?
