When I was a little one, many years ago, there was a commercial (see it here) wherein a robotic-type humanoid careens through a futuristic world of peril. At the peak of danger, the robo-guy (or girl) has its arm cut off. Dramatic, right? The commercial was for War Amps telling children robots can have their arms reattached but children can't, so play safe. The commercial terrified me, down to child-sized soul. Now is where you're wondering how an old (yet traumatic) commercial ties into mask week (day three!) Good question. The StriVectin Labs Silver Peel-Off Purifier leaves you looking a bit robotic. Yup, it's metallic and pretty fun to use.

The Silver Peel-Off Purifier is a peeling mask that works to purify pores, removing built up debris and pollutants, leaving skin feeling smoother, more firm, and with a brightened, youthful look. The mask pumps out looking like molten metal thanks to the colloidal silver and mica in the formulation. StriVectin's patented NIA-114 technology.

The mask is simple to use, as you simply smooth on a thin layer- I learned a thick layer is not what you want , it won't dry properly. Once applied, relax for 10-15 minutes and peel it off starting at the chin and peel upwards. I loved that the mask didn't get too tight on my skin and is incredibly easy to peel off. I'm able to peel it off in one large piece, which is oddly satisfying.

This is a really great mask option for mornings, as it leaves skin feeling incredible- and ready for your other skincare and makeup- and is quick. For a peeling mask, this is quite gentle (you can use it 2-3 times a week) and will work on pretty much every skin type. What do you think? Have you tried this mask? Are you a fan of peel-off masks?
