Happy Friday, blog fans! We're (or I'm, I mean I don't see any of you here helping me type...) wrapping up the blog week with a little colour in the form of the Elizabeth Arden Gelato Crush Colour Collection. It's a little collection filled with feminine hues for cheeks and lips. Ready for a look?

Cheeks first? I am always game for a new blush, especially so when it comes to a formula a bit different than your average. The Cool Glow Cheek Tint is just that, with a weightless, water-based gel formula it leaves a stain like tint on skin. The blush cools on contact with skin and leaves a soft wash of slightly radiant colour that is extremely pretty and natural looking. The formula is more than just good-looking though, as it contains hyaluronic acid, apple, lentil and watermelon extracts to hydrate and smooth skin, ceramides, vitamin c,d, e, and mushroom extract to support collagen for a firmer look and help minimize the look of fine lines.

Available in four shades, I have Berry Rush a neutral berry pink shade that will suit just bout everyone. I found the blush looks a bit intense when your first dip into it, but it sheers nicely on skin and can be layered if you want a more intense flush.

The Gelato Crush collection is really focused on the lips, starting with the Plump Up Lip Liner. The liner boasts a smooth, creamy formula that easily glides on to shape and define lips easily. The liner's smooth formula isn't drying, and features a formula with peptides to plump and form lips and gellified film formers that work to provides a smooth glide and lock in color for longer wear. I love the added silicone tip on the end, as it can be used to soften lines and blend lip colour.

Of the eight shades in the range, I have Vintage Pink a neutral pink-nude. The shade is a great staple, as it works with nudes, pinks, and even mauve lips shades. The formula does have a hint of silvery shimmer, but it's quite subtle and only noticeable if you're wearing the liner alone.

Lastly, the Plush Up Lip Gelato. With a lipstick meets glossy balm formula, this is sure to be a popular option. Actually, to me it is reminiscent of the MAC Sheen Supreme lipsticks (do they still make those?) The formula is all about comfort and care as it feature hyaluronic acid and peptides to smooth and condition, shea butter to lock in moisture, and vitamin a, e, and rosemary extract rich in antioxidants for softer, nourished lips. Housed in an all black tube, the lipstick opens by pushing up the Liz Arden logo. A sneaky little trick.

Of the eighteen shades in the range, I have Bare Kiss a semi-sheer, warm nude.

Overall, a nice little collection with innovative formulas. I am really impressed with everything, and can see myself adding picking up a few more shades. What do you think? Need any of these products in your stash?
