A new makeup brand to chat up today! Scratch that, a new Canadian brand to chat up. Inspire Cosmetics. What makes Inspire a bit different from your average beauty brand, is that they offer what they call an Experience Box. It's a subscription service, but you choose everything in it. Everything. How neat is that?! I'm getting ahead of myself, so let's get to it.

Who doesn't like a little shimmer every now and then? The Inspire Cosmetics Eye Lites are exactly that. The little pots of loose shadow boast a shimmery formula that can be applied dry for a more subdued shimmer, or wet for a more intense pop. I used the shade Soft Rose (medium pink) over a bit of concealer in the look above for a more opaque cover and was really pleased that it applies with practically no fall-out.

I find it hard to resist blush in general, but make it a neutral hue and I'm all yours. The Inspire Cosmetics Get Cheeky Blush in Breathless is a shining example of a great neutral blush... With a peachy tone and soft golden radiance. The formula is perfectly pigmented, diffuses easily on skin and wears well throughout the day with only minimal fading.
I appreciate light foundation formulas, as there are many times I don't want a full-force base. The Inspire Cosmetics Tinted Moisturizer Radiance offers a sheer finish with a moisturizer meets primer type of effect. Available in one shade to suit all skin tones, this moisturizer doesn't really offer a tint. It instead gives skin a bit of radiance with a hydrating and smoothing effect. Formulated without oil, with SPF 15, vitamin e, a, and c and infused with hyaluronic acid, the product is just as much skincare as makeup. I've really liked this as a moisturizer/primer before makeup as it does leave skin feeling smoother and a bit brightened.
I am usually a liquid liner fan, but when I came across the Inspire Cosmetics gel liners (and the wide range of shades offered) I had to give them a go. The Line & Define Gel Liner in Stiletto is your classic black shade and offers a waterproof and budge-proof formula with a pretty deep, true black hue. I was impressed at how well this set and that it works as a tightline liner without transferring, but I found I did have some issues getting a crisp wing.

The Experience Box ships every three months, so you can re-up on your favourite products, or try new ones. As part of the program, subscribers also receive a discount that can be applied to additional purchases. That said, you can also shop as per usual, from the brand's product range.
Overall, I am really pleased with what I've tried from the band. I absolutely love the Breathless blush and have been reaching for it daily. What do you think? Interested in the Experience Box or any of these products?
