Get your beach bags on the ready... Okay, at this point of the summer you've likely already been to the beach, but you get the point. There is still a fair bit of summer left to enjoy, but do you have all the essentials to make it truly great? I've got a heap of Summer Survival Supplies (and a few extras, just for good measure) so let's get to it...

Sun protection should be an all year essential, but it becomes even more crucial come the summer months. Boo Bamboo Natural Sunscreen Spray SPF 30 is a natural option as the mini can is easily popped in any bag or purse. The formula unscented, waterproof, vegan formula can be used on the body and face, but does have a bit of a creamy texture so it does need to be rubbed in to fully absorb.

For super lightweight protection, the Coppertone Clearly Sheer Sunscreen Spray SPF 50 is an all purpose fave. The invisible spray is both hydrating and suitable for those with sensitive skin, won't clog pores and can be used on body and face (mist it onto your hands, then face.) The light spray feels clean and weightless on skin with the faintest tropical scent.

The warmer weather brings more exposed skin which means you're likely more concerned with removing fuzzy bits (aka hair) from assorted areas of the body. Nair Nourish legs & Body Creme Hair Remover gets the job done painlessly and quickly while hydrating and nourishing skin thanks to the grape seed oil and antioxidant- rich resveratrol formula. I'm a long time Nair user, and love that this works in about 3-5 minutes and for me, lasts longer than shaving.

Again, the warmer months bring, well, heat (duh.) Keeping your bits fresh smelling is ideal, so Green Beaver Lavender Natural Deodorant is your next bff. The natural formula is actually effective (pinky promise) with a natural lavender scent (no funky weird herbs). The formula boasts an organic sage oil isolate that works to kill odour, as well as prevent it and contains Labrador Tea, that soothes irritation caused by shaving.

Summer hair is meant to be relaxed, beachy, effortless... Yeah, meant is the key word. There is effort, we all know it. Keeping your hair fresh and big and bouncy (my preferred state) is made a bit easier with the help of Batiste Heavenly Volume Dry Shampoo. A few spritzes at the root works to perfectly revive second day hair and give a bit of texture and majorly boosted volume on any day hair. This edition of Bastiste (there are a ton of options) has a really great soft, sweet-floral scent that combines bergamot, manerin, lemon, white peach, jasmine, tonka bean, vanilla, and cedar.

Great hair on the go can be an almost impossible task, but Sunci is making it easier with their range of hair styling tools. For the super active, the Scunci Sport Tracker Wristband Ponytailer is an innovative way to stash some of your stuff... in your hair. The silky elastics (kind of like a scrunchy) has a pocket in the back that can hold your keys, cash, fitness tracker, lip balm... whatever while you workout or just go about your business. The opening is secured with strong velcro, so you can be sure your stuff is safely tucked away.

Speaking of tucked away, a brush can be handy, especially if you have longer hair- road trips with the windows down can lead to major tangle-town. The Scunci Retouch Brushology Mini Round Brush is small enough to stash in a purse, but big enough that it can still easily brush hair.

Let's circle back to SPF for moment... Did you really protect all of your bits? Lips have some of the thinnest skin on your entire bod, and can easily burn. Softlips French Vanilla Lip Moisturizer with SPF 20 works to moisturize and protect, all while smelling incredible.

Summer, for me at least, means more late nights. It unfortunately doesn't always come with lazy sleep ins, so the Hard Candy Sheer Envy Colour Correct Cushion in Peach comes in handy. When used under concealer, the peachy tone helps cancel out dark circles. The cushion applicator is great to dot it on before blending the product out with brush or finger.

Who doesn't love a summery lipstick? Corals, warm pinks, vivid reds... Gorgeous, right? Not if they're pulling the yellow tones out of your teeth. I normally don't put too much effort into whitening my teeth, but warmer lipstick shades do make me wonder if they could be whiter. The new Arm & Hammer Spinbrush Sonic Pulse Battery Toothbrush is not only the first battery operated brush from the range (meaning, no need to worry about a plug to charge it) but it also boasts sonic pulse action. It removes 2x more plaque than a manual toothbrush and a deeper clean.

In the not entirely necessary, but kind of fun file, we've got Scunci Hair & Body Tattoos. The metallic, temporary tats come in silver, gold, and mixed metal designs that can easily be applied on hair and body. The effect is really cute and removes simply with a bit of oil.

I'm not always a fan of faux nails, but the Sensationail Salon Nails in Short have seriously impressed me. They are smaller in size all around, meaning they fit nails for a really natural effect. The short style is truly short- I often find myself having to trim other brand's short styles- and the fit is low profile. These make for a super quick manicure when you just can't wait for polish to dry.

So, what products do you need to make the most of your summer? Tried any of these or want to?
