Do you ever get one specific song in your head and it's all you can think about? I've been obsessed with John Lennon's Mother the last few days and it is all I've wanted to listen to. I'm trying to ration my consecutive listenings, but it's just too good! I've just realized this doesn't really tie into our scent of the day, but sometimes intros just don't work that way. Anyway, Juicy Couture is back with a new edition to their popular scent family: Viva la Juicy Glacé

Transformative. Iced. Luminous. Everything is cooler, crisper and more concentrated when it's iced. Just like the dazzling Viva Girl who adds a touch of iridescence to everyday life, Viva La Juicy Glace transforms the expected and heightens the senses. Experience the chill of her freshly frozen world with #VivaOnIce

Juicy Couture Viva la Juicy Glacé is the eleventh (yup, you read that right) addition to the Viva la Juicy family. That's a lot of variations of a theme, but Juicy makes it work. The scent comes packaged in a very girly pink glittery box with silver detailing. You need a bit of glitz to stand up to the soft green-pink duo tone shimmer that is the bottle, obviously. The bottle is topped with a pink bow, fluffy pink marabou and rosette (which is removable if it's a bit much for your taste) and a signature Juicy Couture logo on the front.

The scent opens with a fresh, sweet, iciness (frozen mandarin and pear sorbet) that slowly develops into something a bit deeper and warmer as the floral and musk notes (snow-white jasmine and milky sandalwood) with a soft-sweet vanilla dry down. I initially expected this to be very sweet, but the overall scent has a freshness and almost soapy clean element that I have really ended up enjoying. I haven't worn the original Viva la Juicy (or any of the predecessors, actually) so I can't personally speak to any similarities to the rest of the range, however, my research (aka Fragrantica readings) do make it seem like this does fit with the theme.

Overall, I quite like this scent! It's a fun scent that can work well for everyday without being too much or too sweet. What do you think? Does this sound like you type of scents? Are you a fan of any Juicy Couture fragrances?
