Tweezers Gone Glam | La Tweez Pro Illuminating Tweezers with Diamond Dust Tips

la tweez pro illiminating tweezers (7)::: press sample :::

It's fancy tweezer day! You may be thinking that you don't need fancy tweezers, but I might just be able to change your mind. I know I am not one to put a whole lot of effort into my tweezer choices, especially not since I started wearing false lashes. I swear, every pair of tweezers I have (and there more than a few, more than one person truly needs) is sticky from grabbing them to pop lashes on. I will not let these La Tweez tweezers suffer that fate though. You'll have to read on to find out why...

When I first read the info about La Tweez Pro Illuminating Tweezers with Diamond Dust Tips I had them pegged as just being a light up tweezer. Nothing all that revolutionary. The thing is, once I had them in hand and started using them, I realized they're actually really great tweezers that just happen to have the added bonus of their own light source.

The tweezers come housed in a cute little handbag-style box with your tweezers and a storage case. I know the tweezers I keep in my purse makeup bag are scratched up and not in the same mint condition they were in when they went in, so the holder is appreciated. The inside of the holder also features a little mirror that is perfect for on-the-go strays (aka tweezer emergencies.)

The tweezers themselves are made of stainless steel, and while I have the gold set, are available in black and red plus a non-diamond dust options in a few more shades. Since we're on the subject, the tips of these tweezers are hand filed and feature diamond dust that works to both strengthen the metal (for a longer-lasting, sharp tip over the life of the tweezers) and for added grip when snagging those little hairs.

The LED light comes from the centre of the tweezers and is activated by what looks like a decorative swarovski crystal, but is instead the glammest of on /off buttons. The light these provide is clean (aka blue) and bight, not not blinding and really does aid in tweezing. And, if you're wondering, La Tweez does offer replacement light packs so you're not forced to buy all new tweezers when the bulb dies.

Overall, I'm a total fan of these tweezers! I really didn't expect to love them as much as I do, but the quality is so great and they function perfectly (all while looking pretty damn good.) What do you think? Could you use new tweezers in your life?
