Best 17 of 2017 | A Year in Reviews

best of 2017
::: press sample :::

Happy New Year, blog fans! I know, you've had a bit of time to get accustomed to 2018, but still... I'll admit I had lofty goals of getting this together over my blog-break, but *gasp* that didn't quite happen. The siren call of Black Mirror (so good!) and my reading list made me one lazy (but happy) lady. Anyway, 2017 was a beauty-filled year, so I've rounded up the top 17 posts, as chosen by you (aka via Google Analytics.) Ready? Let's go...

best of 2017 group 1

1. Essie Gel Couture Bridal Collection 2017
How can you not be into a collection of feminine (with a twist) shades? I'm still reaching for Sage you Love Me on the regular.

2. Essie Spring 2017 Collection
Spring collections can often times be ultra-predictable (oh, hello pastels...) but Essie went bold and saturated with a selection of gorgeous shades.

3. The Sweet Tooth: Reginald's Homemade White Chocolate Macadamia Peanut Butter
The Sweet Tooth became a (mostly) monthly feature in 2017 and it seems a lot of you are pb fans. This all natural gourmet version brought a little something extra to the party with added white chocolate and macadamia.

4. Maquillage Naturel avec Maison Jacynthe
I dabbled in French blogging (okay, one paragraph...) but the French-Canadian brand Masion Jacynthe just brought it out.

5. Charlotte Tilbury Sex on Fire Cheek to Chic Blusher
I added a long-time wish list blush to my collection with the Charlotte Tilbury Sex on Fire blush. A gorgeous hue that just happens to also be a lot of fun to look at.

6. Liner Love with Marcelle Kohl & Velvet Gel Eyeliner
As I'm fond of saying, life it too short for crappy eyeliner. Marcelle does it right with their Velvet Gel formula.

7. Farmhouse Fresh: Fresh Finds from the Farm
So many Fs... Alliteration aside, you can rarely (okay, never) go wrong with Farmhouse Fresh products. Bonus, they all smell incredible!

8. This, That & Other Stuff: Charlotte Tilbury Edition
Apparently, we're all CT fans. For good reason, as you can't go wrong with a bit of luxury every now and again.

9. Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Lip Boster & Artist Liquid Matte Lip Colour
Neutral liquid lipsticks with an easy wearing formula? Look no further than the MUFE Artist Liquid.

10. Avon Planet Spa Pampering Chocolate Collection
Who can't get down with a little chocolate, right? The Avon Pampering Chocolate range takes me time to a fragrant new level.

11. Brow Know How with Maybelline
2017 was all about brow products, including these gems from Maybelline. So good that I've already used two of the Brow Precise Micro Pencils.

12. Nothing But New with Make Up For Ever
MUFE is always a crowd pleaser, especially when it comes to their new launches. And, more brow products in the mix (of course.)

13. OPI Iceland Collection Fall Winter 2017
I love a good Fall collection, and the OPI Iceland Collection brings a great mix of interesting hues for the season.

14. Givenchy Noir Interdit Lash Extension Effect Mascara
A fancy-ass mascara can be fun every now and then, no? This Givenchy option was not only pricey, but also rather impressive.

15. Elizabeth Arden Gelato Crush Colour Collection
Nude-y pinks for lips and cheeks? Yes, please!

16. March 2017 Pearlesque Box featuring Teadora
2017 was filled with quite a few amazing Pearlesque boxes, but it was the Teadora one everyone just had to get a peek at.

17. Munch Pak Original Snack Subscription Box
Everyone snacks, right? Munch Pak makes it a bit more interesting. Writing this has me wishing I had another bag of the Torres black truffle chips though...

Blogger Bonus Pick: Erborian Glow Creme
Since seventeen picks just didn't divide well, I thought I'd throw in a personal favourite from 2017 with the Erborian Glow Creme. The subtle holo effect is gorgeous, and makes an excellent primer.

And, that is that; the most read posts of 2017. See any of your faves here? What did you love in 2017?
