This, That & Other Stuff Vol. 12 | Valentine's 2018 Edition

valentines day 2018::: press sample // I bought it // affiliate links :::

I know, Valentine's is super close, but I've been patiently awaiting a few more of the products du jour (or a l 'amour, if you will.) I'd rather a late gift from the heart than nothing at all, right? Regardless, I've got a selection of some excellent little giftables for a special someone or yourself (aka the other special someone in your life.)

avon celebrate love candle

Not only is a little candle light romantic, a great scent can so wonders to set the mood too. The Avon Celebrate Love Candle is aptly named for such an occasion with its combination of sparkling citrus, tart berries, effervescent mucks, and rose petals. It isn't an overpowering scent, but is bright and just a bit sweet. Plus, how cute is the kiss-y print?

essie gel couture inside scoop vi please

If you're on to go a bit thematic with your manicure, a demure pink or romantic red can be perfect for the 14th. The Essie Gel Couture range is home to a huge selection of hues, but Inside Scoop (sheer, rose pink cream) and V.I. Please (deep, blue-based berry cream) are my first picks. Plus, the gel-effect formula wears really nicely with the shiniest of finishes.

avon kiss me balm love notes journal

I know super cutesy isn't for everyone, but come on, you've got to think the Avon Just Kiss Me Lip Balm is adorable! Available in Pink or Red, the sheer tinted balm gives lips a little colour and hydration all packed in a the cutest little pair of lips.

A lady may never kiss and tell, but who say's she can't keep notes? The Avon Lots of Kisses Journal is a discrete way to do just that, or simply jot down notes, whatever. It features 90 lined pages with a faux-leather exterior accentuated with pink lips and 'kiss & tell' embossed in gold.

lelo alia

Things are about to get a little sexy, so be warned... Ready for it? Good. Valentine's is obviously a day that can include a little lovin' (or a lot, no judgement) Regardless if you're coupled or riding solo, something a little buzzy could be exactly what the doctor ordered to make sexy time a whole lot more fun. The Lelo Alia is a great introduction to toys, as the gorgeous styling (and shade, Deep Rose is so pretty!) isn't the least bit intimidating- it looks like a little art piece. The  fully waterproof design features six distinct settings, is very quiet, and rechargeable so there is no fumbling for batteries.

lelo sona

While the Alia offers a bit of fun, the Lelo Sona is so much more and offers up a seriously good time (if you catch my drift...) The massager almost looks like some sort of skincare device, with the same smooth finish and sleek look as the Alia, but it is all about one thing... The big O. It uses unique sonic waves (instead of typical vibrations) stimulate the all of the clitoris (even the areas unseen) without actually touching it- it fits around it. Meaning, you can have a lot of fun without any of the discomfort. This is well worth its price-tag (trust me) but just happens to be 50% direct from Lelo until February 14th. It's a purchase you won't regret.

flirt zazubean chocolate

What's Valentine's without a little chocolate? I like it dark, and the Zazubean Flirt Organic Raspberry & Cherry Dark Chocolate Bar is almost perfection. The 70% dark chocolate bar features raspberries and sour cherries (gotta get those antioxidants somewhere, right?) and acai for added benefit. The bar not only tastes pretty good, but does some good as well thanks to the fact that the cacoa it's made from is both sustainably farmed and fair trade.

So, are you inspired to gift anything to your Valentine (or self...)?
