I was recently sent a few items to review from FarleyCo and it included a bunch of Montange Jeunesse masks. I have used these before and have yet to find one I didn't like. When ever I see them I just buy one of each; at $1.99 why not?
There were a few I was really excited to try, but I went with the Green Tea Peel first because it was the only peel in the selection I got and I love peels. It sounds kind of gross, but there is something so enjoyable about peeling the film off when peels dry.

To use this mask you simply cleanse and dry your face then apply it. The mask is a thick syrup like substance (think honey) and it had a fresh slightly lemony scent. It was on the thick side but it was easy to spread on. There was enough product in the packet to apply it to my entire face and a part way down my neck. I was careful not to get the mask on any areas of my face with hair as I wasn't sure if it would really dry on and end up ripping out hair (ouch!) I am happy to report it didn't (because I wasn't nearly as careful as I thought I was.)
The package says to leave the mask to dry for about 15-20 minutes, but I think it was more like 30 by the time it was fully dry and ready to peel. As the mask dried on my face I could feel it getting tighter, but not in an alarming way. I've used masks before that got so tight it was scary. Anyway, when this dried, you could see it starting to lift away around the edges (it looked like a peeling sunburn.) True to the claim on the packet it was easy to peel. I started from the loose edge around my mouth and it was smooth sailing. Once I had peeled my peel I was happily disgusted to see that it did remove "impurities" (ie. gross things) from my face- nose in particular. My skin felt and looked great. I highly recommend this peel, it's fast and it works. What more could you want... well it could do laundry and dishes, but I doubt they could fit all that in the little packets...
Have you ever used a Montagne Jeuness mask? What did you think?

I love their masks! And I also have that disgusting attraction to peel-off masks... it is kinda rewarding to see it actually do something! I got one of their tiny freebie sample one from their FB page, I don't remember which on it is though... But I liked the Warming Dead Sea Mudd one.
ReplyDeleteI really like "Montagne Jeunesse"'s masks ^^ Especially this one ~ nice review =D
ReplyDeleteThat seems really cool! I've tried on of their masks before :)
ReplyDeleteI love their products! It's great that they're only 1.34 here, I buy as many as I can and cart them all home. My favorite peel was pomegranate, my favorite mask was the aloe vera and willow.
