Review: Batiste Dry Shampoo for Deep & Dark Brown Hair

A month or so ago, I was lucky enough to receive a box of products to review from Farley Co. One of those products was Batiste Dry Shampoo for Deep & Dark Brown Hair. I have found that dry shampoos are a lifesaver! They not only save time, but they help out hair. I used to wash my hair everyday, as I would end up with oily bangs/scalp. Over washing lead me to have dry ends, but still an oily prone scalp. With a dry shampoo I can spray away my scalp oilies and have a second day of great looking hair.

I have tried a few different brands of dry shampoos, and so far none have lived up to Batiste. I usually stick to Batiste Tropical- I like the (go figure) tropical scent. When I got to try the tinted Bastiste I was very excited to see how well it compared to the original. The only real downside to the original is that it can leave a bit of a white film on hair- especially if it is a dark colour- if you use too much.

To use the tinted Batiste, you spray it on to oily, dull hair- just as you would any other type of dry shampoo- and let it sit for a few minutes. After that you simply bush it out and style as usual. I love that this is tinted because not only can you go spray crazy and not end up with white hair, but because the tint can also help cover roots and gray hair. Yes, it's that good. I wish I had taken photos, but I just dyed my hair and the new colour won't show any sort of cover from the Batiste.

I highly suggest trying Batiste if you are looking for an inexpensive and effective dry shampoo. I know that there are no retailers that locally carry the tinted Batiste, so I will be returning to Farly Co. for a new can once I finish this one up.

Have you tried Batiste? What brand of dry shampoo do you use?

  1. This sounds good! Most of the dry shampoos I have tried give me white hair so It's good to find something that is tinted!

  2. I love this! I've tried the non colored version :)

  3. Batiste is my absolutely favorite dry shampoo, nothing else compare to it to me! I was sent some too, along with the "dark" or "black" version, don't remember how it's called.

  4. I've been wanting to try this, so far I've only used the Tresemme!

  5. Do you think it would stain hair or does it wash out/dissolve easily. I've tried the white versions but I'm slightly concerned about the coloured one x

  6. All in all, what we are taking a gander at here is the way that the rosemary shampoo isn't one whose activity is shallow, yet rather one that goes loss conditioner

  7. remove makeup with aloe vera gel to make your skin. Just the cotton pad into the Aloe gel and wipe away the makeup from the skin. It is usual and moderate and can also be used for sensitive skin
