Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Pastels On Point Collection Swatches
Confession time: my nails have been naked for almost a week. Something that's quite unheard of for me, but I just didn't know what I felt like wearing and I knew I had a batch of new Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure shades waiting to be swatched. Up first are three of the six shades that make up the Pastels on Point Collection. Read on for a look!
Cur-tan Call is a sheer, creamy, beige-pink. It's a great shade for sheer fans, or use in French manicures, but the formula is excellent and build-able without getting streaky or patchy. Three coats.
Take the Leap is a shimmering blue-violet with a pearlescent finish. The formula is sheer, so this is best used as a top coat. I've swatched two coats over white (OPI Alpine Snow), pale purple (Julep Ramona), dark purple (OPI A Grape Affair*), and black (China Glaze Liquid Leather).
Piqué Side is a minty, pastel green with golden shimmer. The shimmer is quite hidden, which is unfortunate, as it gives the shade that little bit extra something. The formula however, is perfect! Two coats.
Overall, some great shades! The formula was consistently good- something that can be hit or miss with this range- but not super unique shades. I'm still on the look out for the other shades, as there are six from this collection (bottle shots here.) What do you think of these shades?
