Happy Monday, blog fans! Weekend was good, yeah? Mine was far from interesting, but I did get so many bloggy things done. I feel quite accomplished in knowing I have almost a full week of photos not only taken, but edited too... Jealous? I had to pack it in when my batteries died, but still I was pretty pleased with my efforts. On Sunday, I took some time to get in my most recent mask love- Bliss Multi-Face-Edted All in One Anti-Aging Clay Mask- as a bit of a reward. After-all, happy skin is, um... happy skin? I guess... Anyhow, read on!

You might know that I happen to love a little mask action, so I was pretty excited to try this one out. While it's a clay mask, it's a little bit different than your average. For one, it doesn't dry to a hard finish, but stays flexible, and for two (not quite as good a phrase as 'for one' is it?) it's a major multi-tasker as it works it's magic in multiple ways. It  helps correct six of the most common visible signs of aging: dark spots, dryness, dullness, visible pores, rough texture, and fine lines and wrinkles. It's also formulated with a host of skin loving ingredients:
  • Glycolic Acid 10%: Helps to dissolve dead skin cells, clear blocked pores and reduce their appearance, support natural cell turnover to visibly minimize the look of lines and signs of premature aging.
  • Quartz: Gently exfoliates dead skin cells to soften and smooth skin texture.
  • Kaolin: Purges skin of impurities and toxins such as oil, dirt, debris, and pollutants to unclog and diminish the visible size of pores.
  • Jojoba Oil: Absorbs easily and leaves skin feeling soft, supple, and nourished.
What I particularly love about this mask is that it's not drying. At all. Many clay masks, while being good overall, can be stripping and leave my already prone to being dry skin like the Sahara. The mask is not only quick to use- five minutes! It starts to tingle at about that time too so you know it's time to remove- but it also leaves skin feeling pretty amazing. The Glycolic acid and quartz work to exfoliate and clear pores (among other things) which I found to be the biggest plus as my skin looks more radiant after use, feels baby soft (and hydrated!), and my pores even seem less visible.

Overall, I have to say this is a pretty fantastic mask! The fact that it does exactly what it claims to do, and only takes five minutes to do it is pretty perfect. I do find this takes a little effort to fully remove, it's worth it. Oh, and if you have white facecloths want to keep them white, don't use them with this. The packaging does state the mask can stain certain fabrics, and I can say that yes, it does (on muslin anyhow.) I don't mind though, as my muslins never stay white for long as I use them with cleansing oil/butter to remove my mascara and makeup. Are you a mask fan? Tried this or any other products from Bliss?

P.S the Multi-'Face'-Eted mask is also available in a set of three single use packets that are the perfect way to sample the formula or take it on the go!
