Happy Monday, blog fans! Did your Sunday feel a little bit empty without Game of Thrones? I have to admit, mine did. I wasn't feeling True Detective, but I do like the addition of a female character whose purpose involves more than just being the forlorn wife of the male lead. Anyhow, getting past my tv watching habits, we have more important matters- lip gloss! Lip lacquer, actually. Make Up for Ever Artist Plexi-Glass Lip Lacquer marks the newest lip addition to the MUFE family. Want to know how it fares? Read on!

'This must-have lip gloss imparts vivid color and stunning shine while being completely comfortable on the lips. Its pigments are packed with Plexi Color Technology to deliver up to five hours of color impact while 360-degree, reflective shine beads maximize shine.' - MUFE

Not everyone is a lip gloss lover, and while I've come to really love matte lips, lip gloss still gives me teh feels. Make Up For Ever Plexi-Gloss is a gloss that will appeal to lip gloss fans, but might not to those used to the newer weightless, tack free formulas. While Plexi-Gloss wears well ( about3-4 hours) it does have a bit of stick. I find the amount of stick works well with the formula as it works to make the formula longer lasting. During wear the gloss remains comfortable on lips, meaning it doesn't thicken, migrate, or dry out lips.

The gloss has an interesting applicator... Your basic sponge-type material, but in a flat, paddle shape with split tip to allow for easy and precise application. The edge of the applicator can be used to line lips with colour, while the paddle makes quick work of filling them with colour.

The range currently has 35 shades that include an array of pearly and creams with sheer and opaque finishes. Of the 35, I've been using 301P Pearly Nude Coral (sheer orange-peach with golden shimmer), 203P Pearly Golden Pink (sheer peachy-pink with golden shimmer), and 500 Lilac (opaque cool lilac). The sheer shades give lips a wash of colour, with soft, iridescent shimmer. The formulas can be layered a little bit for extra colour, but won't reach full opacity. I've been layering them over similarly toned lip liners, but they also wear nicely on their own. The opaque shade, 500 Lilac, is a quite vivid with two layers but still allows a touch of lip shade through making the shade read more pink than it does in the tube.

Overall, I quite like these! The formula isn't that unique really, but the shine is great and the wear is comfortable, so no complaints from me. Are you a lip gloss fan? Tried these?
