#Take12 to Love Your Tub with Pearl & Daisy Natural Soap Company

Pearl & Daisy Natural Soap Company (4)::: press sample :::

When is the last time you hopped in the tub? No, showers don't count. I mean a proper soak? I know I don't do the whole bath experience too often, partly because, who has the time? I tend to like a long soak if I'm going to take tub time, but have been swayed by Pearl & Daisy Natural Soap Company. Their #Take12 initiative is all about enjoying the bathing experience and that you can achieve bath time bliss in as little as twelve minutes. Obviously, the right products make it even better, and their all natural options certainly deliver. Read on for some bath chat!

Pearl & Daisy Natural Soap Company bath fizzer in rose

Who doesn't love a bath bomb every now and them? They fizzle, they smell great, colour the water, good ones give skin a bit of hydration... I could go on. Pearl & Daisy do bath bombs the natural way with moisturizing coconut oil, sunflower seed oil, and organic essential oils. They have a few scents to chose from including lavender, coconut vanilla, sweet orange, and the scent I tried rose. The scent is very natural and not overpowering, making for a really relaxing bath.

I've never really been a bath salt kid of person, but having tried them, I definitely see the appeal. The rosemary & mint scented Gifts from the Sea Bath Soak use mineral rich Dead Sea salt with fresh essential oils for a relaxing and invigorating soak. I didn't initially like the scent, but it grew on me and I kind of love it now. Plus, how cute is the vintage print bag?!

What is a bath without a bit of soap? I will admit that I'm more of a shower gel person when it comes to my everyday showers, but there is just something about a bath that needs a bar of soap. Pearl & Daisy have a fairly large assortment of handmade, natural soaps, of which I received Veranda. Veranda is "a tribute to summer afternoons spent lingering in the shade of painted porches" with a scent of lemon verbena and thyme. The fresh and herbal scent is amazing, with a formula to match as it leaves skin feeling fully clean, but not stripped and dry.

Overall, I can't help but be a Pearl & Daisy fan! I love that the company is Canadian with their products made with love in Nova Scotia. If bath and body products are your weakness, they also offer their Little Box of Happy, a monthly subscription service packed with brand favourites and new, not yet released products. Pearl & Daisy products are available online from their website and at a selection retailers across Canada and the US. See the full list here. Have you tried anything from this brand? What do you need for a perfect bath?
