Happy Friday, blog fans! I'm feeling rather proud of myself, as I've made it to the end of the week and actually got to (almost) all of blog schedule. Go me! You were supposed to have been served one additional post this week, but... No. Let's focus on what we do have though.... Hair care! More specifically, the gloriously scented Maui Moisture Nourish & Moisture + Coconut Milk range. It smells great, works well, and doesn't cost a fortune. What more could you want?

Maui Moisture Nourish & Moisture + Coconut Milk Shampoo and Conditioner

The Maui Moisture Nourish & Moisture + Coconut Milk range is unique in that its formula is not our average an has just a much attention paid to what is in it and what is not. The shampoo and conditioner formulas feature aloe vera juice and pure coconut water instead of your average water. How impressive is that?! They're also formulated without:

  • No mineral oil
  • No silicones
  • No parabens
  • No gluten
  • No SLS
  • No sulfated surfactants
  • No synthetic dye
  • No animal testing
  • Yes eco-friendly
  • Yes post-consumer recycled packaging
  • Yes pure coconut water
  • Yes pure aloe juice

Both products have an incredible (and almost edible) tropical scent thanks to the blend of coconut milk, guava oil, and mango butter. They not only inspire the scent, but they work to give dry hair a major hydration boost without any heavy feel or build up. Having coloured hair I'm very picky about my shampoos and conditioners, but this duo has been perfect. I love that there is no SLS in the shampoo and no silicone in the conditioner- traits that can be hard to find in drugstore hair care.

Maui Moisture Nourish & Moisture + Coconut Milk Weightless Oil Mist

While I find the conditioner from this range leaves my hair smooth and well hydrated, the Maui Moisture Nourish & Moisture + Coconut Milk Weightless Oil Mist has become a regular item in my styling routine. The super fine mist has the same yum-tastic scent as the other products and gives hair a silky feel and perfect shine. I am always a bit leery of oils,as they can be too heavy on my finer textured hair, but this is great for adding the hydration I need. I especially like to mist a bit of this on my hands and pat it over second (or third) day hair, as it gives some of the healthy shine back that dry shampoo can suck out. Or, on fresh hair if I overdo it with mattifying texturizing spray...

Overall, I'm a complete fan of these products! I love that Maui Moisture offers a really quality product that you can grab at the drugstore and don't need to break your budget for. What do you think? Would you or have you tired anything from Maui Moisture?
