I love

When it comes to hair (and lashes) I am all about volume. As such, dry texturizing sprays and dry shampoos are always in my hair styling routine. The Cake 'Do Gooder Volumizing Dry Shampoo is an excellent option for both cleansing (it is a dry shampoo after all) and adding texture and volume to hair. I love that the cornstarch-based formula has a light, warm vanilla scent (it smells SO good) and that it applies clear on even the deepest hair colours. It's lightweight (no powdery scalp feel once it settles) and absorbs oils really well.

Delectable The Everything Balm 20 g $16 USD / CAD | Delectable The Everything Powder 100 g $16 USD / CAD
Ignore the packaging of my tube of Delectable The Everything Balm. It seems I bought this just before they introduced the new packaging (to match up with the new Everything Powder) Packaging aside, this little balm is incredible. Formulated with caster oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, and sunflower oil, it works to seriously hydrate skin. What skin? That's the beauty of it- you can use this absolutely anywhere. It pumps out of the tube looking like a lotion, but it is in fact a light balm that absorbs easily into skin with no greasy feel. It's a must have, really.
As mentioned, there is a powder range mate to The Everything Balm. The Delectable The Everything Powder is a multi-use powder (21 uses and counting according to Cake/Delectable) with a sweet cream scent (think sweet whipped cream with a hint of vanilla.) It's a common scent from the brand and I simply can not get enough of it. The powder is talc-free, and instead uses cornstarch as its main absorbent ingredient, along with aloe and vitamin E to soothe and nourish skin. I mainly use this as a body powder (tip: use a dusting under the ladies to banish any signs of boob sweat on sweltery days) but the uses are endless. Oh, and it does make a great night-before dry shampoo on oily roots.

If you've been a reader for a while, you've likely already heard / read my ravings when it comes to the Delectable Daily Dry Oil. I LOVE this stuff (so much so that I just got over-excited and typed LVOE). It's the first sweet cream scented product I used from the brand, but its got more going for it than the scent alone. Formulated with argan, safflower, and grapseed oils, the lightweight oil mist is perfectly hydrating with a dry finish on skin (zero oily feel). I'm on my third bottle and see many more in my future.
On my repurchase of the Daily Dry Oil, I decided I may as well give the Delectable Bronzing Lotion a go too. I initially thought it was also an oil (based on the nearly identical packaging) but it does have a true lotion texture. Unlike some products wherein the bronzing element is the main purpose, this is all about hydration first with the subtle bronzing glow and delicate golden shimmer as an added benefit. I love that this is subtle enough for even the palest of skin (if it works on my ghostly white bod, t will work on anyone). Plus, it also has the sweet cream scent I so love.
As you can see, my Cake love runs pretty deep. Are you fan too? Have any favourite products?
